Welcome to the Technology Laboratory at CREST!

The Technology Laboratory was established in summer 2014 to facilitate prototyping of 3-D objects and structures using CAD sofware followed by automated fabrication on CNC equipment. In addition, the lab supports assembly and troubleshooting of electronic circuits, offering hands-on experience to motivated university and high-school students.

The initial funding for the lab equipment and supplies was provided by the NSF (grant 1352969).

The available tools include a 3-D printer, CNC mill, CNC router, assortment of hand tools, oscilloscope, laboratory power supplies, electronics components, and SolidWorks software. The gallery page provides additional details about the available equipment.
